Cancelling & Rescheduling

Plans change, and that's okay. WeBookGuides makes it easy to adjust or cancel your bookings with fairness and transparency.

Cancel a Trip

  • Cancellation and refund terms are set by each guide and shown on your trip listing before you book. There is no platform-wide cancellation window.

  • Open My Trips, select your booking, and choose "Cancel" to initiate a cancellation.

  • Refunds (if eligible) are issued to your original payment method – see the Payments & Refunds page for timelines.

Reschedule a Trip

  • Change your date or time when your guide's policy and availability allow it.

  • Select "Reschedule" in your booking details and pick a new date/time.

  • New dates may be confirmed immediately or pending guide approval.

Policies

  • Guide cancellations always result in a full refund to you.

  • Trips affected by bad weather can be rescheduled or refunded.

  • No-shows are typically non-refundable; please arrive on time.

  • Special deals marked "non-refundable" cannot be canceled for a refund.

Refund timing (summary)

  • Refunds return to your original payment method and typically appear in 5–10 business days (provider dependent).
