By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from WeBookGuides, including account notifications, booking updates, onboarding communications, support messages, and occasional promotional or informational messages.

Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies based on user activity, account status, and interactions with the platform.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages unless you re-opt in.

Advertising and Conversion Measurement. To measure the effectiveness of our advertising and accurately attribute bookings, we share certain hashed (one-way encrypted, non-reversible) identifiers — such as your email address and phone number — with advertising and analytics partners, including Google. These identifiers are hashed before transmission and are used solely for conversion measurement and attribution. They are not used by these partners to identify you personally, and are not sold or shared for third-party marketing purposes. You may opt out of this sharing at any time by contacting us at support@webookguides.com.

We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Hashed, non-reversible identifiers may be shared with advertising partners solely for conversion measurement, as described in Advertising and Conversion Measurement above.

Your phone number and SMS interaction data are used solely to:

• Deliver requested messages
• Provide platform services and support
• Improve communication reliability and user experience

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information.

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to opt in to SMS communications.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website with the revised effective date.

When a guide chooses to connect their Google Calendar, WeBookGuides requests limited, read-only access to their Google Account. We request only the minimum information needed:

• See events on your Google Calendar (calendar.readonly) — used solely to read the start and end times of your existing calendar events so we can show your availability and prevent double-booked trips. We do not create, edit, or delete any events.
• Your email address (userinfo.email) — used only to identify which Google account is connected and to display it to you in your dashboard.

What we access and store. We store the access and refresh tokens issued by Google in encrypted form, solely to keep your calendar in sync. We read event start and end times to compute your availability. We do not copy, store, or display the titles, descriptions, locations, attendees, or contents of your calendar events.

How we share it. We do not sell, rent, or share your Google user data with any third party. Google user data is used only to provide the calendar-sync feature within WeBookGuides and for no other purpose. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except (a) with your explicit consent, (b) as necessary for security (for example, investigating abuse), or (c) to comply with applicable law.

Disconnecting and deletion. You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from your guide dashboard (Bookings → Trip Calendar → Sync External Calendar → Unlink). Disconnecting immediately revokes our access and deletes the stored tokens.

Limited Use. WeBookGuides's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
